MONDAY FUN!!!!!!!!

 Hello bloggers,

On Monday the whole school had a wheels day. All the year sixes and fives went for a swim first. We were all in groups. One group will go on the slip and slide and the one group with watch the slip and slide and the other groups will be in the pool having a swim. After everyone have had a turn on the slip and slide and in the pool, we played games on the field. Our first game was with Ms Sands we got to play board games or relax under the tree's and in the trees.

My favourite time of the day will probably be the slip &slide because we got to get wet and we got to go down in buddies it was also fun because of the soft red pillows, when ever we went down we would crash or bump into them.

NETBALL ZONES

 Hey bloggers today I'm going to be talking about net ball zones. it was a sunny day and the netball girls and boys were ready for there day, we put on our gear and hoped into cars. When we got there, there were a lot of netball teams and there were a lot of parents  there to watch us all. We had a lot of fun there. When the first game started and the ref was waiting for the signal. We all were scared but we just gave all we had and just had a fun day at the end of the day everyone was cheering because we had won the game both teams of waikowhai won the game.

We all had  lots of fun there  I wish I could do this again next year but I can't because next I am going to intermediate I will try to get into a Intermediate netball team next year with my friends.

SIX THINKING HATS

  Hey bloggers Today I will be talking about my six thinking hats. The six thinking hats are about the celebration that we had. We had to write about how we felt at start at the gala and how we felt at the end of the gala. we also had to write about the process of making bags and performing  on stage for the gala celebration. We were also talking about how the food was and how other people felt. we added photos in the slide it was lots of fun because we got to spend time on work talking about the gala celebration.

TOTE BAGS!!!!

Ki Ora It's me Darlene and today I am going to talking about tote bags we started making tote bags because of all the plastic that's going down the drains and then out to the sea and then on to the beach, where birds sea life can eat and then die.  so that's why we are making the bags.

Steps of making the tote bags:

1. Get two peaces of calico

2.Draw a little picture and the cut it out

3. The pick a colour for your screen print

4.Then when your screen print is dried then get your other calico and pin it together.

5.When there is a spare sewing machine the hop on it and sew slowly.

6. when your bag is done then do your straps sew them together

7. the add your straps to the bags and then iron  your bag and the start on your second bag.

How this my learning  is that when it was learning how to sew with Ms sands next to me it just made my mind change to tote bags  and ever since have been doing tote i've been learning how to sew all my bags just to get the hang of it.

BOOK REVEIW

Hi bloggers it's me Darlene and this is my reading slide show. We got given a reading book to read and after we had finished the book we had to put information into a reading slide show. in slide one we had to talk about first part of it, the middle part of it and the the last part of it it wasn't really hard for me because I've already done this 10 times. it was easy because i could understand the book and I could put information into all the boxes. What i liked about doing reading is that you got to listen to music and we had lots of time to do this. I think i should work on putting more information into all the slides so people know more about the story. When I had the music on it helped me focus on not talking to my friends.  I love doing work on my chrome book if you want to see more on my blog then go to click here blog you later :)

TALKING ABOUT MATHS!!!!!! YAY

   Hi bloggers it's me Darlene and this is one of my slides for maths  its called Darlene's New Zealand Journey. We had to find prices for all the slides and choose activities for when we go to that town. There were lots of slides to finish, the hardest slide was we had to find out how much it would cost to go to the place and fly back. Then  at the  end of all the slides we had to add up all the prices that had put down in every slide.  Once we were finished we went over it checked it and then we were done.

Here are the two slides I was talking about in my other little bit that I wrote. These two slides were the hardest ones ever to Figer out. We had to use the calculator to add up everything up in the slides. But the hardest slide out of both of them was the petrol slide. It was hard but at the same time it was annoying too because it was hard to find the prices for every place we went to. And we  had to find out how long it took for every place that we went to as well.

dance writing

                                HI BLOGGERS
It's me Darlene, and this is my dance video.In class for the last few weeks we have been listening to a piece of music and making a dance up for the music. What I learnt in dance is when I am scared in the dance it is going to make it obvious seeing you frightened in the dance. So I just gave it a try. What was challenging for me, was watching all the audience look at me, and smile at me. Even when Mr Ross smiled at me I was scared. When I saw the look on peoples faces it made me not want to do my dance. What I thought, in Our dance   we could've
made It more shorter to make it fit with the music. But Abby said no, so we had to follow her rules. And when we did  it at the end the music ran out and we didn't finish our dance. In our dance we had a few changes because it didn't fit with music. When we came up to the part where we had to jump off we only did that once and then we finished.
we had fourteen groups preforming and only five groups made it so we are preforming in assembly.

THE CRAZY SCIENCE SHOW BY RICHARD AND ROBBIN

Hi Bloggers this is me Darlene  and  today we went to the science show. We learnt lots of new stuff about science. The crazy science show was amazing. What amazed me was when he blew the fire out of the bottle. The whole show was amazing but  I wonder what does H2O mean. We had a lot of  information about gravity and how the earth floats and turns. I learnt that when you rub your hands together it makes heat. When you get a bigger machine to push the soft solid ball up into the air it follows the machine and
pushes the ball up into the air but gravity pulls it down.



                                             Reflection

 When we went to the science show we learnt what kind of chemicals were in the rocket.    The name  of  the chemical was called  a polymer. What I also learnt  was that bubbles  were the  the thinnest object in the world seen by the human eye.
 These are the things that fire needs: fuel, heat, and oxygen. Here are some  photos of Richard.

MT RUAPEHU

Hi bloggers this is my slide about Mt Ruapehu this is all about when we went to the mountain. On our trip  challenges for me were
to try get my skis on, trying to beat Mr Ross, going up to Rock garden. When we were there it was fun people were laughing people were lying in the snow. The best part of the mountain was watching Dustine falling in the snow. on our stops to the hotel everyone was getting sick of the bus.  The first stop was Hamilton gardens then we went to the   school to play for a little while, Then we went to our lunch stop, and then we went to answer all our question, After that we were at our last stop then we had have another big ride to National park. When we got there it was beautiful. We got our keys and then went up to our rooms this was amazing.

TAEKWONDO:)

Yesterday our class Hauraki went to taekwondo we  had to hop in our lines at first and move right back then we did our warm up  for the day. Then after that we did high  kick for another warm up and then we did our  compaction  to see who could get the highest the class Caitlin came first out of all the girls in Hauraki. this Opportunity to do taekwondo is fun.

this is the writing we did in cross over. We had to write about the girl and how she felt, how she looked,

Six thinking Hats comprehension about the three Te Waka Ako classes

 Hi this is my DeBono Hats thinking. This is what we were doing yesterday, these hats are about the new classes called Te Waka Ako.  

This class room is the best class room I've ever had and it is a whole class we share things together as a class. And we teach as a class in these new building.

These class rooms are the best, the furniture is the best thing in the building. We had a ceromony for the new building so we can move into them. I have  some photos to show you when we were about to move in. This photo is of Kapa Haka  group when they preformed  on stage. MY TRENCH DIARY

HI everybody this is Darlene here. This is my Trench  Diary. We were watching  a little film about how soldiers  were living in war. Because when soldiers in war were fighting, some of them died. And then soldiers started to die. And the wind started to get colder. And there was only can food to eat, bread that was shared between all of them. They were hungry. When there was no  food left for some of them so they died. and some of them got saved from some the people who won war in world war 1. How it felt to write like a soldier was kind of sad and kind of happy because i can send them letters and they can send letters back to me. But it is kind of sad because im not there for my family.

	Dear Diary: In world war it is horrible  out here soldiers are dying and rats are coming and the are eating dead bodies from when they had diseases,and got shot that's why we have microscopes to look to see where they are and then we can tell people to move  and keep low. Then we  built heaps of trenches that we can hide behind.
	Dear Diary: The war has started we have a lot of soldiers  dying whenever a bomb explodes i can’t hear anything but except my children and you my dear i just want to come back home to you and i pretty i’m soon too. Everybody screaming.
	Dear diary I can taste  the sweet old jam in my mouth the soup with lots of flies on it i miss your cooking my dear i want to come home this  food we are eating is fine but not yummy i want bread with jam on it  we have no water to drink we drank it all  on the way to war.
	Dear diary I smell lots of little mice coming in from all the holes in the trenches I smell the old tin food that we are cooking for dinner.I smell dirty clothes that need to be washed. I can smell smelly socks everywhere on the ground. I smell mud and dirt on my shoes.I smell stinky breath from not brushing my teeth in 1 year.
	Dear diary I feel lice running through my head.I feel itchy bites all over my body from the mosquitoes that bit me. I feel cold  because of the wind that's going past us every time it was night.
	Dear diary How i feel inside is sad because i'm missing my family the smell of my house my children my wife and my dog the nice food i used to cook.how i feel is sad because i'm here at war fighting France when really i should be at home with my family what if i die and i never go back what if we run out of food what if we get lice i just want to go home.
	Dear diary What  i am thinking about is my family in London thinking about how i am.I am thinking about how am i going to get home. I am thinking about are we going win this war.
