TAEKWONDO:)

Yesterday our class Hauraki went to taekwondo we  had to hop in our lines at first and move right back then we did our warm up  for the day. Then after that we did high  kick for another warm up and then we did our  compaction  to see who could get the highest the class Caitlin came first out of all the girls in Hauraki. this Opportunity to do taekwondo is fun.

this movement the kick was a good challenge for me because I thought I wasn't going to get it but I actually got so it was a challenge for me.

week 9 creative writing post

This is me Darlene I am a student from Waikowhai Primary School and this is my week 9 creative writing
this is the writing we did in cross over. We had to write about the girl and how she felt, how she looked,
and we did a piece of writing where we had to write about the new class rooms, and there's one where we had to write about the light house but I didn't get to write about this slide because I was  in reading. After I got back I did my inquiry task board. I really hope you liked this post.

Hi everyone this is Darlene here and this  is my look who iv'e found  drawing that   we did yesterday in cyber smart with James.  This was James's last day at this school because he was going to get a new job somewhere else, so we did this with him for the last day. Some people in this building have already did this so they got to do Khahoot with James.

This is me Darlene from Waikowhai Primary School this slide is from reading that I did in my old class Room 09. This makes me think of when I do my reading test I have to retell the story or  my teacher gives me questions from the story and then if I get it right then I go to the next question that is on the book. this is about 2 different books that I've read  with  my teacher Ms Sands. Six thinking Hats comprehension about the three Te Waka Ako classes

WALT use thinking hats to show understanding

 Hi this is my DeBono Hats thinking. This is what we were doing yesterday, these hats are about the new classes called Te Waka Ako.  

This class room is the best class room I've ever had and it is a whole class we share things together as a class. And we teach as a class in these new building.

This is Darlene here. And these are my six thinking hats. These are talking about the new class rooms that we've just moved into. These class rooms are the best, the furniture is the best thing in the building. We had a ceromony for the new building so we can move into them. I have  some photos to show you when we were about to move in. This photo is of Kapa Haka  group when they preformed  on stage. Micheal Wood cut the rope  for the new classes. here is the other photo i want to show you. This is when Micheal Wood was cutting the ribbon. MY TRENCH DIARY

HI everybody this is Darlene here. This is my Trench  Diary. We were watching  a little film about how soldiers  were living in war. Because when soldiers in war were fighting, some of them died. And then soldiers started to die. And the wind started to get colder. And there was only can food to eat, bread that was shared between all of them. They were hungry. When there was no  food left for some of them so they died. and some of them got saved from some the people who won war in world war 1. How it felt to write like a soldier was kind of sad and kind of happy because i can send them letters and they can send letters back to me. But it is kind of sad because im not there for my family.

	Dear Diary: In world war it is horrible  out here soldiers are dying and rats are coming and the are eating dead bodies from when they had diseases,and got shot that's why we have microscopes to look to see where they are and then we can tell people to move  and keep low. Then we  built heaps of trenches that we can hide behind.
	Dear Diary: The war has started we have a lot of soldiers  dying whenever a bomb explodes i can’t hear anything but except my children and you my dear i just want to come back home to you and i pretty i’m soon too. Everybody screaming.
	Dear diary I can taste  the sweet old jam in my mouth the soup with lots of flies on it i miss your cooking my dear i want to come home this  food we are eating is fine but not yummy i want bread with jam on it  we have no water to drink we drank it all  on the way to war.
	Dear diary I smell lots of little mice coming in from all the holes in the trenches I smell the old tin food that we are cooking for dinner.I smell dirty clothes that need to be washed. I can smell smelly socks everywhere on the ground. I smell mud and dirt on my shoes.I smell stinky breath from not brushing my teeth in 1 year.
	Dear diary I feel lice running through my head.I feel itchy bites all over my body from the mosquitoes that bit me. I feel cold  because of the wind that's going past us every time it was night.
	Dear diary How i feel inside is sad because i'm missing my family the smell of my house my children my wife and my dog the nice food i used to cook.how i feel is sad because i'm here at war fighting France when really i should be at home with my family what if i die and i never go back what if we run out of food what if we get lice i just want to go home.
	Dear diary What  i am thinking about is my family in London thinking about how i am.I am thinking about how am i going to get home. I am thinking about are we going win this war.
